What should you look for in your local mortgage broker?

In all honesty there are several things you should look for when choosing any mortgage broker.  The first thing should always be their reviews and reputation.  Look at the feedback given by their previous clients.  Next up.  Their personality.  You and your mortgage broker are going to be working together for the next couple of months so ensuring you’re are compatible and work well together is the key to stress free property journey.

What If I need a specialist?

If you need a specialist then so be it!  The property finance industry is vast and although I like to help everybody I speak to from time to time I have to hold my hands up and refer you to somebody better suited to your circumstances.  If this is the case I will always be at the end of the phone to advise, monitor and help you achieve your goals once the referral has been made.

How accessible is your mortgage broker?

Very!  When a client decides to work with us, they will be added to a dedicated WhatsApp chat.  If you’re buying with somebody else we can setup a group chat.  I appreciate that securing a mortgage and buying a home can be very stressful.  That’s why I will be on hand to answer your questions and point you in the right direction day or night.  We defy the standard shirt-and-tie, 9 till 5 mortgage brokerage model.

How much will it cost?

Our fees vary depending on the complexity of your case.  Our typical fee for arranging a mortgage is £495 but this will be discussed and agreed early on in the process for transparency.
The things that will alter the complexity of a case are as follows.

Is it best to use a Mortgage Broker from Astley, Tyldesley or Atherton?

If you live within close proximity of M29 or M46 then yes!  Supporting local business’s has always been important to me.  Working with a mortgage broker that not only lives in the area but also invests will give you a huge disadvantage over somebody working with a broker who doesn’t.  Take a look at our reviews.  I might have helped somebody you know already!

Face to Face vs Zoom Consultation

I have the capacity to help clients across the whole of the UK using telephone appointments and zoom calls.  However it is nice to work with local people at times and it gives me chance to meet you face to face.  If you have time for it lets grab a coffee and see how I can help you.
